Are we able to use anti-seep collars for seepage control now?

Under current MD-378 Pond standard, yes, anti-seep collars may still be used; however, the standard mentions “Filter and drainage diaphragms are always recommended, but are required when the following conditions are encountered: 1. Pond requires design according to TR-60 or 2. Embankment soils with high piping potential such as Unified Classes GM, SM, and ML.”
