Hey All,
So I’m working on making some pothole depressions for a 657, and have been tasked with making up “irregularly shaped depressions ranging from 5,000 sqft to 10,000 sqft.” Is there anyway, on Civil3D2018, to set a maximum/minimum area parameter for a polyline shape in a drawing?
Let’s say I have a shape with multiple vertices and I want the minimum allowable area for that shape to be 5,000 sqft, and a maximum allowable area of 10,000 sqft. Ideally, when I move a vertex, it would not allow me to make the shape larger then the 10,000 sqft, but also would not allow me to make the shape smaller then 5,000 sqft. It would be nice if it still moved the vertex, but only to the maximum/minimum distance that would still fall within the parameters.
I’m sure I have not worded this adequately, and I can hopefully provide clarification if necessary. If you know of anything that sounds like it might be useful, please let me know!
Thanks All,
Zach Berry
