Recently tried taking my Area of interest from Lidar and inserting it in Autocad. I have contours but when I label them, they are roughly 200′ above the contour elevations that I created on the contour level in Lidar. I have checked the coordinate system in Lidar and it is correct. I have checked and made sure the coordinate system in Autocad is MD83F. I have verified that the contours on Lidar and Google earth are the same(sea level) but once it goes to Autocad it adds 200′ to every elevation. Other than that, the elevations appear to be accurate. I thought it was a meter – feet conversion factor, apparently not the case. Thanks for any insight!
