I want to add an aerial imagery underlay to the plan view. I tried copying Google maps imagery and inserting it as an embedded picture, but the scaling is just my best guess. Also, now I’m trying to make changes to the things I have drawn in the model space and it keeps selecting the imagery object instead of the line I’m trying to adjust. I know there must be a better way to do this. Sorry if this topic has already been covered in a training video or document, if you could point me in the right direction, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I followed the instructions above, but my aerial imagery from GIS is not to scale and its way far off from my survey points. How do I add a GIS point to my survey data so the aerial imagery comes in right ontop of the survey? I’d love to know how to do this both during the original survey set up, and now post survey? Thanks so much!
I followed these directions to save the aerial imagery then added it to my model space, but the image and my survey points are way far apart. How can I tie my surveys into a GIS location so they line up with the imagery? Both on the initial survey, and for this project, once the survey is already done. Thanks so much!
